Waiting on a Plane in Seattle

Sadly, my trip to KC has come to an end; I’m now in Seattle waiting on my plane for Vancouver (and home) with chills, slight sore throat and the creeping crud in my chest.

No, it’s not H1N1. It’s called being around sick people and then flying in an aluminum tube for a few hours.

Need to get rid of it before my next trip on Nov 19th – heading to Baltimore and Buffalo for the last two shows of Springsteen’s current tour.

I’ll sleep when I’m dead. 😉 More later…..

Lots to write about, but so little time…

St Louis Arch …as I sit here in my hotel room in St Louis, MO waiting on yet another Springsteen show! To say that I’m excited would be an understatement – shows tonight in St Louis and tomorrow in KC! I’m gonna be exhausted, but it’ll be a good exhausted.

My trip to New Jersey was a blast and I’ll write more about that soon. My trip to Missouri has been great so far, filled with good laughs and surprises, which I’ll talk about when I have more time. 🙂

Until then….fingers crossed that I make the pit tonight and have elbows on the stage!

New Jersey Bound….But First, Packing!

Some people wouldn’t admit this, but I actually like New Jersey.

Ok, so it probably has a lot to do with the fact that my dearest friend lives there and that I’m a fan of Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street band, so it should be of no surprise to anyone who knows me that I’m jetting off tomorrow morning to New Jersey, land of big hair (I blame Bon Jovi), Bennies and the Jersey Shore.

It’ll be a quick trip to see the last two shows the E Street Band will play at the old Giants Stadium. If the first three shows are any indication, I’m in for one “pants dropping, heart stopping, hard rocking, earth quaking, booty shaking, love making, occasionally viagra taking, history making, legendary…..E-Street Band” performance!

And I can’t wait!

But first comes the packing. And I hate packing. I pack too much and then wail that I have nothing to wear. I also don’t wear half of what I do pack.

I know, I’m nuts.

More later….but until then, here’s a little bit of what I hope I get to experience this week:

The 2:42 mark is especially fun. 😉

See ya from New Jersey!

Hello World!

Welcome to Sly’s World! Like me, this is a work in progress.

Don’t know what I could possibly have to say that would be of interest to anyone but gosh darn it, I’m gonna try.

Hope you check back…..I’ll get paranoid otherwise.
